Hippie stained and clear coated P-Bass from 1959. September '59 body date pictured. Slab board neck, headstock has a stable crack running from low E tuner down about 1 1/2", also pictured. Neck appears to have been shaved down at some point, very thin and comfortable. Replaced bridge. Original pots and pickups. Strap button holes on heel and treble side horn. Body shows considerable play wear with various dings, scrapes and scuffs to top and back. Pick guard repaired at jack. Finger board shows moderate play wear as well with finger board rutting present mostly on treble side of board. Frets show moderate wear, plenty of life left though as this bass has had flat wound strings on it for a long time. Plays and sounds great. Comes with non original 80's aftermarket Fender style hard case.
